I'm finalizing all my paintings for The Handmade Market. This is a preview of what I will be taking. I've titled this series "Oh My Bird!" This series is much darker than a lot of my work, but still sweet and charming. I'm really excited to take these to Minneapolis where a whole new market of people will get to see what I do. Hopefully, they will like it!

I've already made prints of 6 small paintings and will embellish and frame each of them. Each one will have it's own personality, just like the originals do. No two alike!

The Heart of Summer

We are right in the heart of summer and I am diligently working on my new paintings for The Creative Connection Event coming up in September! I am still into "birds" and will have 30 or more small paintings to take to Minneapolis.

My friend, Cherry, has agreed to make the drive with me (approx. 14 hours), be my right-hand-man and be my top salesman! How will I ever repay her! (Maybe seeing her name in this infamous blog will help.)
