Little Silver Birds

Below are three pieces I completed last month.
These have all the elements I love:
tarnished silver, glitter, vintage jewelry and of course...birds!

You can find more of my silver pieces at
The Cloverleaf Boutique, Oklahoma City, location.

Twilight

My husband and I were in Santa Fe, NM, last December and, of course, fell in love with all the artwork. I am always drawn to the more abstract pieces and decided to try my hand at it. This is a piece I painted for our home. It was so much fun to step out of my comfort zone. My husband loves it! I had to hold myself back...I would have loved to have added more and more to it, but stopped and let it have a calmness. It is named "Crepuscular" which means "relating to, or resembling twilight"

30" x 40"

I just got back from Texas, and as I traveled across the state, I must say I was inspired by the landscape and just might explore more of these type paintings. But, don't hold me to it! haha

Anthropologie Is Here!

I have been busy the past couple of weeks helping with the opening of Anthropologie on The Triangle at Classen Curve in Oklahoma City! I am happy to be working there part-time and have really enjoyed being a part of (albeit small) the whole process! The Anthropologie team from the corporate office to the local staff have been amazing to work with!

Below are some photos that appeared in The Daily Oklahoman on Thursday, January 26. Yes, that is me! I just happened to be working in the front area of the store when the photographer came in! ha

As you can see, the store is beautiful! It is very light and airy. It has all the creative elements you expect to find at Anthropologie. Many customers have commented that this store is one of their favorites.

If you are near N. Western and Grand, come by and see me!

Dallas Market

Had a great time at Dallas Market last Thursday. The Demdaco/Silvestri team were wonderful to work with again. This time during the Artist Meet and Mingle, the Artists greeted buyers at the front door as they entered for the cocktail party. It was really fun meeting the buyers. I actually met several from Oklahoma City!

Also, I got to meet more of the Artists with Demdaco. It was such fun meeting Lisa Frost. Her bright, fun, whimsical line is a true reflection of her.

I met Kris Lanae in Atlanta, and was happy to see her again in Dallas. Her jewelry line and wire elements are beautiful!

Below are some pictures of the Silvestri Showroom. My prints are part of the "Ooh La La" line.

In front of my products tucked in this Christmas tree! So cool!

Window Display

After going to these two markets, I am so energized to create more!!! I have lots of new ideas and can't wait to get started!

It's Been Too Long

My husband, Chip

Heidi Chapman, Cloverleaf Boutique

Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since I've posted! But, I'm back!

I have been working with Demdaco/Silvestri this past year on developing my artwork for their "Ooh La La" line. I just returned from Atlanta Market where I got to see it for the first time. It looks amazing! I am so impressed with all the people I've worked with and the Visual Display that Cory designed. Thank you so much to the Demdaco/Silvestri team!!

I will post again next week after I get back from Dallas Market!

Thanks for hanging in there with me!!
